In the fall of 2013, Inocon took over the production of the insolvent plant manufacturer, Doubrava, in Puchheim, Germany and has since lead them with its own subsidiary. The Regional Economic Minister, Dr. Michael Strugl, recently visited the company which already has 62 employees and was informed about the course of business after the acquisition. Twenty other former Doubrava employees will be added to the Inocon team by the end of the year.
Managing Director, DI Dr. Friedrich Pesendorfer gave Strugl a tour of the company, which now operates under the name "INOCON Industrial Plants" and specializes in industrial plant engineering for dry building material plants and bulk material conveyor systems as well as contract manufacturing.
The conveyor systems are, for example, used in fertilizer plants, steel mills and ore dressings. However, individual components of industrial plants are also designed and manufactured.
Pesendorfer shows his satisfaction with synergies arising between the engineering and automation processes resulting from the acquisition as well as the ever increasing customer interest.
