When blasting in the open blasting system/hand blasting system, a special blasting agent is shot through a nozzle onto the surface of the workpiece using compressed air. This effectively removes residues such as rust, old paint and other dirt, while the surface is slightly roughened. This creates optimal conditions for thorough basic cleaning (cleanliness level SA2,5) and ensures ideal adhesion of paintwork and precise further processing of the workpieces.
